O'Grady also played both center and right field, as well as second base. While in field Angela, as always, gave great coverage and was sure to move for the ball whenever it came towards her.

The Ladies Section of the Peterborough Curling Club held its annual Snowflake Bonspiel Jan 13 drawing 24 teams from the surrounding area and sponsored generously by Krista and Bruce Thompson of Windsor's Dry Cleaning Centres. Lakefield District Secondary School's Senior Girl's Volleyball team has started the AA OFSAA tournament in Kenora 2-0. Tuesday morning, the eighth ranked Tigers defeated Dennis O'Connor from Whitby 25-11/25-17. Tuesday afternoon, the Tigers defeated Beamsville in 3 sets, 25-23/20-25/15-7. The remainder of pool play has the tigers playing third ranked General Amherst from south-western Ontario Tuesday afternoon and nineteenth ranked Mentor College from Toronto Wednesday morning.
